The 23rd China International Housing Industry and Building Industrialization Products and Equipment Expo (China Housing Expo) will be held from October 15 to 17, 2026, at the Beijing Shougang International Convention and Exhibition Center. Aerogel Coating: Supporting Building Energy Efficiency Upgrade with “Lightest Solid” Technology

Aerogel is one of the solid thermal insulation materials with the lowest known thermal conductivity. Because more than 99% of its composition is gas, its density can be as low as about three times that of air, earning it the name “frozen smoke.” Huacheng Hi-Tech has applied this nano-porous material to architectural coating systems and developed a thermal-insulating and sound-absorbing aerogel coating. Through the compounding of hydrophobic silica aerogel and hollow fillers, the coating achieves a dual thermal insulation mechanism; at the same time, the combination of hollow fillers and fibers delivers sound insulation and absorption. The coating film has excellent hydrophobicity, making it difficult for rainwater to wet it. It is suitable for new buildings and energy-saving renovation of existing buildings. In terms of fire safety, aerogel coating can meet the requirements for Class A non-combustible materials, making it suitable for building scenarios with strict fire performance standards.

Radiative Heat-Blocking Coating: Architectural Application of Passive Cooling Technology

Radiative heat-blocking coating adopts optical reflection and infrared radiation technologies. In summer, it reflects solar radiation to reduce building heat gain; in winter, it helps reduce indoor heat loss, achieving a passive temperature control effect of “cool in summer and warm in winter.” This product is suitable for energy-efficiency retrofit scenarios of existing buildings and can be applied directly without removing existing finishes.
