Huacheng Hi-Tech Presents Three Core Systems at KOREA BUILD WEEK 2026 – Advancing Green Building with Innovation.

From August 5 to 8, 2026, the annual building industry event – the Korea International Building Materials & Interior Design Exhibition (KOREA BUILD WEEK) – was held at the COEX Convention Center in Seoul, Korea. This year’s edition brought together approximately 600 exhibitors across 1,900 booths, showcasing a comprehensive range of cutting‑edge products and technologies in construction, building materials, space design, and related fields.

Shandong Huacheng Hi‑Tech Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Huacheng”) showcased its three core product systems – Radiative Cooling System, Waterproofing System, and Pavement System – at this year’s exhibition, demonstrating to Korean and international professional visitors the technological strength of Chinese enterprises in the field of green building materials.

Three Core Systems Working In Synergy To Address Key Challenges In Green Building

At this year‘s exhibition, Huacheng’s core products addressed three critical needs in the building sector:

Radiative Cooling System – Huacheng highlighted innovative materials including aerogel and radiative cooling film. Positioned as a “zero‑electricity cooling technology,” the radiative cooling film achieves passive cooling by radiating heat into outer space, contributing to urban emission reduction and sustainable development. Aerogel, a nanomaterial originally developed for aerospace applications, redefines insulation with ultra‑lightweight properties and exceptional energy efficiency.

Waterproofing System – Huacheng showcased high‑performance industrial coatings including polyurea and colored exposed waterproof coatings, providing long‑term waterproofing solutions for building structures.

Pavement System – Huacheng exhibited permeable concrete, permeable adhesive stone, and colored anti‑skid pavement products, which are key technologies in the development of sponge cities. These materials effectively mitigate urban flooding and the heat island effect, and are now widely used in various projects, helping to turn the “sponge city” concept into reality.

The South Korean government is currently accelerating the transition to green buildings. Under the Third Green Building Master Plan (2025–2029), new public buildings must achieve Zero Energy Building (ZEB) Level 4 certification, the renewable energy share is required to reach 20%, and the share of low‑carbon cement in construction is targeted at 48%. Driven by these policies, demand for green building materials and energy‑efficient products is growing rapidly, creating significant market opportunities for companies like Huacheng.

During the exhibition, Huacheng’s booth attracted a large number of both domestic Korean and international professional visitors, who stopped by for in‑depth discussions.
