The 27th Waterproof Technology Exchange Conference
The 27th Waterproof Technology Exchange Conference (the "518 Conference") has come to a successful close. Huacheng Hi-Tech participated in the exhibition with products including the "Shangri-La" Integrated Waterproofing and Cooling Film, attracting attention and recognition from industry peers.

During the exhibition, our booth received many waterproofing experts, engineers and agents. The guests showed great interest in the waterproof & cooling integrated membrane and consulted in detail about its performance and application scenarios.
Focusing on a real‑world problem: roofs are afraid of both leaks and heat.
At the conference, many contractors and building owners mentioned the same dilemma: conventional waterproofing layers can only stop leaks, but metal or concrete roofs under the blazing summer sun still cause stuffy interiors and high air‑conditioning bills. That is exactly the starting point for the design of the "Shangri‑La" Integrated Waterproofing and Cooling Film.
Product concept: waterproofing + cooling – one solution that tackles both issues synergistically.
Brief technical principle: while the film provides reliable waterproofing, it simultaneously utilises the atmospheric window infrared radiation characteristics to dissipate roof heat into outer space in the form of radiation (zero‑energy passive cooling). Measured results show a reduction in roof surface temperature of 15–20°C, thereby lowering the air‑conditioning load.
Application scenarios already in use:
Factory buildings and warehouses (especially those with metal sheet roofs)
Flat roofs of self-built residential houses
Portable cabins and container houses
The exhibition has ended, but the conversation continues.
