Huacheng Hi-Tech Debuts at VIETBUILD: Radiative Cooling Film Launches in Vietnam, Reconstructing the Fundamental Logic of Building Energy Efficiency

An Energy-independent Cooling Solution
Located in the tropical region, Vietnam suffers high temperatures all year round, leading to prominent challenges in building cooling and excessive air-conditioning energy consumption.
The radiative cooling film highlighted by Huacheng Hi-Tech adopts passive radiative cooling technology. Its working principle consists of two core processes:
First, the high-reflectivity layer reflects sunlight, especially near-infrared thermal radiation, back into the atmosphere, with a reflectance of over 90%.
Second, through the 8–13 μm atmospheric window, the surface heat of objects is directly dissipated into the cold outer space in the form of mid-infrared radiation.
Actual test data shows that under typical daytime conditions, this film can lower the surface temperature of covered objects by 15–30℃ compared with the ambient temperature.
The whole cooling process requires no power supply, no refrigerants and no moving components. It serves as a continuous cooling method with zero energy consumption.

Multi-functional Material: Cooling, Waterproofing and Self-cleaning
In addition to its radiative cooling performance, the product delivers excellent waterproof and impermeable properties, along with a superhydrophobic self-cleaning surface.
Under the rainy, hot and humid climate in Southeast Asia, the material can function as both a roof waterproofing layer and a thermal cooling layer. It simplifies structural design layers and cuts down overall construction costs.

In-depth Cultivation: More Than Just Cooling
During the exhibition, Huacheng Hi-Tech also displayed its mature product lines including high weather-resistant waterproof coatings and flooring materials.
Engineering contractors and developers from Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and other countries gave positive feedback on the product’s aging resistance, construction convenience and system supporting capacity.
