Product Overview
One-Component Polyurethane Waterproof Coating is a reaction-type, moisture-curing polymer waterproof coating manufactured from isocyanate and polyether polyol as primary raw materials, together with plasticisers, curing agents, accelerators and fillers. Unlike traditional two-component systems, this single-pack formulation is ready to use straight from the container — no weighing, no mixing ratio errors, and no pot-life constraints.
When brush-applied onto a clean substrate, exposed NCO groups in the polyurethane prepolymer react with ambient moisture in the air. This triggers a crosslinking chain reaction that forms a continuous, seamless, elastic waterproof membrane directly on the substrate surface. The resulting film is tough yet flexible, with exceptional adhesion to concrete, wood, metal and ceramic — eliminating the need for separate primer coats in most applications.
With a solid content exceeding 85%, this high-build formulation achieves rapid film-forming, reduced solvent emission, and compliance with national environmental protection standards. It has been extensively tested for heat aging (80°C, 168 h), alkali resistance, acid resistance (2% H₂SO₄), and 1,000-hour artificial weathering — retaining ≥80% tensile strength and ≥450% elongation across all conditions.

Key Features & Competitive Advantages
1. True Ready-to-Use — No Mixing Required
Single-component formulation means no weighing, no mixing errors, and no pot-life limitations. Open the pail, stir briefly, and apply directly — reducing on-site labor cost and eliminating waste from unused mixed batches.
2. No Primer — Direct Bonding
Strong, reliable adhesion to concrete, wood, metal and ceramic substrates without a separate primer coat. This cuts a full application step from the job, reducing material cost and construction time.
3. Pinhole-Free, Dense Membrane
Chemical crosslinking produces a uniform, dense, bubble-free film with no pinholes or voids. Results in consistently high impermeability — 0.3 MPa, 120 min, impermeable — across the entire applied surface.
4. Extreme Weather Resistance
Withstands temperatures from −35°C to 110°C without cracking or deformation. Tested across 1,000 hours of artificial weathering and 168-hour heat aging at 80°C with ≥80% tensile strength retention.
5. High Mechanical Performance
≥2.00 MPa tensile strength combined with ≥500% elongation at break and ≥15 N/mm tear strength. The coating stretches with substrate movement and temperature cycling without cracking or delamination.
6. Comprehensive Chemical Resistance
Tested against alkali (0.1% NaOH + saturated Ca(OH)₂) and acid (2% H₂SO₄) immersion for 168 hours. Tensile strength retention 80–150%, elongation ≥450% across all chemical exposure conditions.
7. Environmentally Compliant
Formulated to meet national environmental protection standards. High solid content (≥85%) means lower VOC emissions compared to solvent-based alternatives. Suitable for projects requiring green building compliance.

Typical Applications
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does this product require a primer before application?
No. In most cases, no primer is required. The coating bonds directly to clean concrete, wood, metal and ceramic surfaces with ≥1.0 MPa bond strength. For highly porous or friable substrates, a thin seal coat can be applied.
Q: What is the shelf life and recommended storage condition?
Shelf life is 12 months when stored in the original sealed container at 5°C to 35°C, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep containers tightly sealed — the product cures on contact with atmospheric moisture.
Q: What certifications does this product hold?
Tested in accordance with GB/T 19250 Type I for single-component polyurethane waterproof coatings. We can also arrange third-party testing per ASTM, EN, or ISO standards upon request. Full test reports and MSDS are available.
Q: Do you provide OEM / private-label packaging?
Yes, OEM and private-label services are a core part of our B2B offering. We can customize pail/drum design, label artwork, brand name, and multilingual instruction sheets. Minimum quantity for OEM labeling starts at 3 metric tons per SKU.
Q: What is the recommended application thickness and coverage rate?
Recommended dry film thickness is 1.0–1.5 mm per coat, applied in 2–3 coats. At 1.0 mm DFT, coverage is approximately 1.5–2.0 kg per square meter depending on substrate porosity and surface profile.
