Road Marking Materials | Traffic Line & Sign Marking for Asphalt& Concrete Pavements
Product Function: Used for drawing traffic lines and traffic sign symbols on various road surfaces.
Applicable Road Types: Asphalt pavements, cement pavements, highways, urban and rural roads.
Application Form: Suitable for highway vertical markings and conventional horizontal traffic markings.
Core Value: Guarantees the driving safety of all traffic participants, with remarkable promotion, application and practical value.
- Overview
- Recommended Products
- Cold application for road marking, no hot melt equipment needed, simple operation, fast construction speed;
- Short drying time to reduce traffic disruption and provide convenience;
- Possesses anti-skid and wear-resistant properties to ensure safety;
- Compared to other cold spray marking paints, it has stronger weather resistance and impact resistance, which can extend service life.
- For concrete pavements and cured floor surfaces, it is recommended to apply a primer before applying the marking paint.
- This type of material is not recommended for soft substrates such as elastic PMMA, plastic runways, etc.
- The marking paint must be applied evenly. Unused material must be sealed for storage.
- Stir the marking paint before construction. If the marking machine fails to spray, add 1-2 kg of thinner per drum, stir evenly, and then proceed with construction. If using an airless sprayer for application, add 4-5 kg of thinner (Note: adding thinner is not recommended for asphalt pavements, except as specified).
- Poor-quality concrete pavements and cured floor surfaces require a primer before use.
- This product is a one-component material. Unused material must be sealed for storage.
- The construction ambient temperature should be greater than -10℃, with relative humidity less than 85%. The coating should be stored in a ventilated, dry environment at 5-35℃. The product’s validity period is one year.
- Place warning cones and implement safety protection measures to ensure construction safety.
- Clean the surface to be coated.
- Lay out the marking template according to the drawing requirements.
- Apply the sealing primer.
- Apply the vertical surface reflective coating using a roller or spray.
- Clean the site and open to traffic.

Product Advantages
Product Information
Packing: 25kg/drum
Shelf Life:
It is recommended to use within six months under unopened conditions. If the shelf life is exceeded, sampling and testing are required; use is permitted only if results are normal.
Storage&Transportation:
Store in dry conditions at 5-30℃, keep packing sealed, protected from light, and stored dry. Avoid high temperatures and open flames.
Construction Details
Construction Conditions:
Before entering the site, technicians must test the ground moisture content. Construction can only proceed after the ground moisture content meets the construction standard of below 10 %. Use a vacuum cleaner to thoroughly clean the ground and corners, ensuring the base layer is free of dust, standing water, oil stains, powdering, and peeling.
Note: The moisture content of concrete should be less than 10% to ensure the paint film does not blister.
Spraying or Roller Application of Marking Paint
For asphalt pavement, use a dedicated cold spray marking paint spraying machine for direct application (Note: do not use an airless sprayer for direct application on asphalt). Alternatively, apply directly with a roller after applying masking tape. The recommended consumption is 0.35 kg per square meter.

Note:
Construction Rate:
0.35 kilograms per square meter
Higher consumption results in greater thickness.
Construction Parameters
| Pot Life | Store at room temperature. Higher temperatures shorten the usable time after mixing. Construction is generally not recommended when the ambient temperature is above 35 ℃or below 0℃. |
| Thinner | Adding thinner is prohibited without permission. |
Precautions
Colored Vertical Surface Reflective Marking Coating
Product Introduction
Colored vertical surface reflective marking coating is a water-based coating characterized by high brightness, wide-angle visibility, and rain-night reflectively. It features convenient application, rapid drying, and is environmentally friendly with no pollution. Vertical markings coated with this reflective marking coating offer the advantages of wide-angle, high reflectively, and excellent durability at night, under low-light conditions, and in wet environments. It can be applied to various vertical surfaces such as cement and galvanized steel plates, demonstrating good adhesion. This product enhances the effectiveness of highway vertical markings, playing a role in ensuring the driving safety of traffic participants, and holds significant value for promotion, application, and practical use.
Construction Process
Fluorescent Paint
Product Introduction
Fluorescent paint operates on the principle of optics: it absorbs short-wavelength radiation invisible to the naked eye and re-emits longer-wavelength radiation within the visible spectrum. When this emitted long-wavelength light combines with ordinary reflected light, it produces exceptionally bright and vivid colors that cannot be achieved by conventional paints. These advantages become particularly evident under poor lighting conditions—such as early mornings before sunrise, evenings after sunset, or during overcast and rainy weather. Even when illuminated by artificial light at night, the paint remains highly luminous.
Owing to these characteristics, fluorescent paint is widely applied in areas requiring high visibility, such as toll island ends, roadside barriers, and roundabouts. It is also extensively used in the traffic facilities industry as well as in advertising and decoration.
Construction Process
Compared to other road mixing paints, fluorescent paint is relatively more expensive. To reduce costs, a based coat of normal-temperature road marking paint can be applied first. Approximately 30 minutes later, the fluorescent paint can be applied over it. After another 30 minutes, the surface is ready for use. To achieve nighttime reflectivity, reflective glass beads should be applied immediately after the fluorescent paint coating.
