Product Overview:

ZM03 is a hydroxypropyl polyurethane coating. This material is a high-performance product with excellent wear resistance and can be used for vehicle applications.

The coating film offers fast drying, high strength, excellent adhesion, strong flexibility, low odor, high cost-effectiveness, a relatively long pot life(2-4h), and good anti-yellowing properties. It has excellent wear resistance, good acid and alkali resistance, etc., and is suitable for various road foundation applications.

Usage Method

• This product is a two-component water-based product, belonging to polyurethane materials. Components A and B must be mixed thoroughly before use.
• Mixed material must be used within 2-4 hours. Beyond this time, the product will undergo self-crosslinking, leading to undesirable phenomena such as flocculation and stratification, rendering it unusable.
• This product can be diluted with water as needed. The dilution ratio should be controlled within 10%. Water should only be added after Components A and B are mixed uniformly.
• Strictly avoid contact with solvents, thinners, gasoline, or other oily substances during use, as this will affect product performance and may severely cause the water-based material to be scrapped.
• Application should try to avoid rainy or overcast weather. Contact with rainwater should be avoided before the water-based paint is surface dry, as it will severely affect the film performance.
• Application on damp road surfaces will not affect the performance of the water-based paint but prolong the surface drying time and the time to achieve strength.
• Note: For application on cement roads/marble/paving tiles, a dedicated penetrating primer must be used. Otherwise, performance cannot be guaranteed, and there is a long-term risk of peeling and delamination.
• During winter application, the material application temperature should ideally be maintained above 0℃. Try to avoid low-temperature application.
• During winter application, the time for the material to achieve strength will be significantly prolonged, extending to 1-2 days depending on the actual environment.
• During winter application, avoid application during rain or snow. Contact with snowmelt should be avoided for 2 days after application.

Applications

Primarily used for color change applications on various types of road bases.

Suitable bases include: Indoor/outdoor cement roads (used with ST400 primer), asphalt roads, asphalt waterproofing, silicone PU renovation, PMA, EPDM, water/oil-based epoxy substrates, marble, paving tiles (used with ST300 primer), pervious concrete,vehicle applications etc.

Storage and Transportation

• The product should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse. Storage temperature should be above 5℃ and below 35℃. Project from water immersion, direct sunlight, isolate from fire sources, and keep away from heat sources.
• When stored under the specified conditions, the shelf life is one year from the production date. If the shelf life is exceeded, the product can be inspected and may still be used if it meets the standard.
• During transportation, the product should be protected from severe cold, rain, and sunlight exposure. Transportation should comply with the relevant regulations of the transportation department.
